Measurable Multifunctions in Nonseparable Banach

In this article we define measurable multifunctions in nonseparable Banach spaces, prove a weak compactness criterion for the selectors of multifunctions integrably bounded, characterize Banach spaces that have the Radon–Nikodym property by means of convergence of multivalued martingales, generalize some recent results on convergence of set-valued conditional expectations, and give some applica...

Nonseparable Graphs

Proof. We first prove the sufficiency. Since any two vertices of G are connected by two internally disjoint paths, then for each vertex v of G, any two vertices of G − v are connected by at least one path, i.e., c(G − v) = c(G). Hence G has no cut vertex. Next we prove the necessity. Let u, v be two distinct vertices of G. To show that there are internally disjoint paths between u and v, we app...

Commutative subalgebras of the Grassmann algebra

The maximal dimension of a commutative subalgebra of the Grassmann algebra is determined. It is shown that for any commutative subalgebra there exists an equidimensional commutative subalgebra spanned by monomials. It follows that the maximal dimension of a commutative subalgebra can be expressed in terms of the maximal size of an intersecting system of subsets of odd size in a finite set. 2010...

A Nonseparable Amenable Operator Algebra Which Is Not Isomorphic to a C∗-algebra

It has been a longstanding problem whether every amenable operator algebra is isomorphic to a (necessarily nuclear) C∗-algebra. In this note, we give a nonseparable counterexample. The existence of a separable counterexample remains an open problem.

On subalgebras of an evolution algebra of a "chicken" population

We consider an evolution algebra which corresponds to a bisexual population with a set of females partitioned into finitely many different types and the males having only one type. For such algebras in terms of its structure constants we calculate right and plenary periods of generator elements. Some results on subalgebras of EACP and ideals on low-dimensional EACP are obtained.
